Hey, what not can be very enjoyable. Duh.

Supposed to be 74 today. More dense fog this morning though. Yesterday was awful, almost 0 visilibity. Luckily I didn't have to go into work that yesterday so I didn't have to drive too far in it. Just to the store and back. Lot closer than work.

Nap sounds lovely. Have to go to my folks today to help my dad level his new shed. Also found out my 1 year old nephew was admitted to the hospital because he was vomiting, lethargic, and having trouble walking... Waiting to hear more about him. Luckily my wife is here this weekend so lots of hugs and what not.

A walk does sound nice, we might go for one later.

Wife is making pulled pork for dinner tonight.

I eat even better when she is back.

sorry to hear about your nephew, hope its just the flu or something easily treat-able and gotten rid of.

no frogs here, was pretty warm last night (had to turn the fan back on--good thing I had not put it away just yet since its still pretty warm today thru monday). Had a few errands to run around here---must be a full moon for the way the drivers are today (driving over curbs, cutting people off at the lights etc).

no idea about dinner--think I will leave hubby incharge of that one

Turns out he had an ear infection causing his ear drum to bulge. This lead to vomiting and being off balance. He is on an antibiotic for the next 10 days. So he will be fine. Though my older sister apparently passed out in the ER and hit her head so now she has a concussion. So now she has to take it easy for a few days.

Didn't appear to be any fog this morning. Supposed to be in the 70's again today. Should be a beautiful day. Though the wife will head home today...

ear infections....had plenty of them, good that is wasnt serious (not as serious as the concussion! hubby has that issue--he hate hospitals and the last time I was in he turned sheet white when they put the iv in ME)

all good things----well just a few more weeks until turkey day!

It might have been serious if they hadn't figured out what it was. Definitely glad they did. And ya, concussions can be pretty nasty. This one is a mild one apparently, so not too bad. Still not fun.

Yup only a few more weeks till turkey day. Get Veteran's Day off first though. On a Tuesday. Going to be weird...

cant believe this year is almost over, I think I am still writing 2012 on things

was BEAUTIFUL today! had the balcony door open, had to go out for a while--was a great day especially on a weekend this late in the year---I will remember it for a while (and when its -20 out next february).

We still have 2 months left, definitely not over yet. Quite a bit of time left to go.

Supposed to be even nicer today than it was yesterday. 79 as the high thought thunderstorms will be passing through tonight.

True, only 2 months left. Still, 2 months is a long time. Of course if I can make it a month and a half we are in good shape.

another beautiful day today--a bit breezy, but totally enjoyable! They dont get much better than this (especially this late in the season).

ate out tonight too, pretty good dinner and a nice night--parked aways away from the restaurant and had a nice walk (both ways).

The weather in UK has been suspiciously sunny for months. It remains lovely Autumn sunshine here. I spent Saturday wondering round Eton and going to a performance of the mikado there, it was all surprisingly enjoyable.

I had leftovers. But that is kinda what I do now. Cook 2 meals a week, leftovers the rest of the time.

Was a bit breezy yesterday. Supposed to be 61 today and sunny, so still nice. Crazy to think November is a few days away and it is still nice out.

made scallops (in a shrimp scampi style) and now...our cupboard is bare, the veggie bin is cleaned out...so off to the grocery store we need to go----

yesterday was another wonderful day, cool, but still nice--and since our condo was pushing 80 again (yes it was VERY warm in here over night), it was nice to open the door and let some cool crisp fall air in!

Leftovers again here. Won't be leftovers tomorrow though. Got coerced into chaperoning the fan bus to the regional championship volleyball game tomorrow. Guess I'll have to go get something. I need to hit the store this weekend as well.

Definitely colder today, and colder again tomorrow. We are trending in the wrong direction with temp...

made some curry last night, turned out ok for not using a bottled 'curry' spice (used the individual spices--which usually turns out pretty wrong).

was another nice, but cool day....and the price of gas is back down (below what it was the last time it was down too!)...still not sure why it went up that high and then back down in less than a week. (and not even going to try to either)....

saw loads of little trick-r-treaters today, again unsure WHY since the holiday is tomorrow and a perfect time for it (friday et.al)....saw a bunch last weekend as well, have we just decided that any day is now halloween as long as its close to the holiday?

also have been seeing more xmas decorations up already (hubby comments that we are just going to skip thanksgiving this year?)

It rained yesterday and now it is cold again. Guess I'll have to watch out for ice on my way in this morning.

I don't see any trick or treaters out here. Which is good since I don't have any candy for them. I thought about maybe getting some but then I remembered that I would eat it. Then I'd get fat. So no candy out here.

I hate that. Thanksgiving is next. Lets get to good ol' turkey day before we start thinking Christmas!

yeah we dont get any in our place either and the only candy we have are the reeses that my hubby has already eaten all of

(we were supposed to SHARE them

)...and we are already fat

hubby is in charge of dinner tonight--he is trying to make those pork buns you get at the chinese restaurants (called char siu or bbq pork buns)...we shall see how they turn out.

no rain here, just cold (think a shower might have passed close to us, but we got nothing from it).

they turned out pretty dang good--not exactly as pretty as the ones you get in the restaurants, but for our first try.

so I was checking out the programming tonight on tv..and there are 2 christmas programs on (really on halloween???) boggles the mind.

have been resisting turning on the heat--but it was getting pretty dang crisp in here today (got a bit warmer when hubby had the oven on), will be checking out the furnace this weekend--dont think we can put it off too much more. (think we made it almost 3 weeks without either a/c or heat--should be a nice small electric bill this month

)

What? Christmas programs? Why... WHY?!?!

Turned the heat on last night and this morning again. Just a bit too cold in the apartment this morning. 58 is not so good. Plus it was like 20 out this morning... Yikes.
